## What PackOS Does

PackOS solves two shipping problems for Shopify merchants:

1. PackOS Pack — Accurate shipping rate calculation at Shopify checkout.
   Uses a bin-packing algorithm to determine optimal box sizes, then fetches
   real-time USPS, UPS, and FedEx rates. Rates appear before the customer pays,
   eliminating checkout undercharging and overcharging.

2. PackOS Ship — A label purchasing portal where merchants buy labels at
   negotiated rates. Includes a prepaid wallet, rate shopping, batch label
   purchasing, and real-time shipping margin analytics.

## Key Differentiator

PackOS is present at both the checkout quote AND the label purchase.
This means it can calculate the exact delta between what the customer paid
for shipping and what the label cost — a metric called shipping margin.
No competitor offers this because no competitor is present at the checkout quote.
